After practicing psychotherapy for many years I have come to
appreciate an active and focused interactional approach.
Psychotherapy is a collaborative journey, whether individual, couples
or group therapy. My tasks are to help define appropriate goals and keep
us on track. Our discussions are a blend of history and the current situation,
always with an eye towards addressing your concerns and enabling you to feel
more confidence in handling your challenges.
I pride myself on
being highly trained and skilled. My extensive experience, in combination
with my warmth, sense of humor and respect, usually leads to successful
therapy outcomes.
Different concerns lead people to call a
therapist. These are some of the common concerns; depression, anxiety
and stress, difficulty in communicating, loneliness, self-esteem issues,
work problems, family matters, and trauma.
